Infinix has today unveiled its
latest android smartphone into the Kenyan market. The new Infinix
Hot Note X551 features a 5.5”sreen, 16GB internal memory, 8 Megapixel
camera and runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.
And like its
counterpart the Infinix X507, the new smartphone will sell exclusively on Jumia after the two companies reached an
agreement following the instant success of the Infinix X507 whose sales Parinaz
Firozi MD Jumia Kenya described as “staggering”.
Other
important features to note about the phone include its 4000 mAh (Li-polymer) battery that takes 20 minutes to charge and supports
7 hours of usage. Its dual micro SIM and 2MP secondary camera + 1GB RAM and an Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A7. The phone also comes with
12 months warranty.
With its pocket-friendly price of Ksh. 9,999,
the Infinix Note is expected to dwarf others in the market riding on free
deliveries in all major towns and the option to pay cash on delivery offered by
the online retailer and to ensure customer satisfaction, Infinix will also be banking
on the Jumia return policy
that allows customers to return or exchange products they purchase on the
website within 7 days.
The
announcement comes a fortnight after Innjoo
launched its first smartphone the Innjoo Note exclusively on Jumia to tap into
the growing online customer base in Kenya. The middle East smartphone company also
launched the Innjoo T1 phone tablet 7" 8GB
Dual SIM and the Innjoo F2 tablet- 10.1"Dual SIM
retailing at Ksh. 9,999 and 10,999 respectively.
According to Parinaz
Firozi, selling online Jumia marketplace ensures you are exempted of costs like
rent, city council permits, wages and salaries, insurance and other risks
common in brick and mortal stores thus allowing you to offer the best prices
