Again, Etisalat To Sponsor Nigerian Idol Season 5

Etisalat Nigeria will sponsor season five of the reality TV music show, Nigerian Idol, as auditions for thousands of undiscovered, young music talents for the 5th season of the competition kicks off in Benin City, Edo State.

According to the telecommunication company,  the winner would receive a brand new SUV, and a 7.5 million naira cash prize, amongst other rewards.

Multitalented Entertainer and Pioneer Judge Yinka Davis is making a return to the show along with Afrobeat singer, Dede Mabiaku; soul singer-songwriter, Darey Art Alade, while Ill Rhymz would reprise his role as the presenter of the show.

The first episode for Season 5 is expected to air in March, 2015 following further auditions in Port Harcourt on January 17th, Abuja on January 24th, Ibadan on January 31st and Lagos on January 7th and 8th.
