Ethiopian Airlines Flies Zuriel to Documentary Releases in Africa and Europe

Africa’s biggest and most profitable carrier – Ethiopian Airlines, has continued its support for Zuriel Oduwole, the youngest person in the world to be featured in Forbes Magazine, and listed in December 2013 by New Africa as one of Africa’s 100 Most Influential Persons.

She came to global prominence in 2013 when at age 10, she became the youngest person to meet and interview 9 African Presidents, talking about issues of Girls Education, while focusing on showcasing Africa’s positive sides to the rest of the world.

Zuriel Oduwole arrived on Ethiopian Airlines in Lagos to release her 3rd documentary - her first one to show on the big screen on November 27th, making her the youngest person in the world to show a film in a commercial movie theater. The event was attended by diplomats, corporate leaders, and Nigeria’s biggest movie producer and director; Kunle Afolayan.

She paid a courtesy visit to Ethiopian Airlines Lagos office before the carrier flew her to London last week, where she was formally welcomed to that historic city London by the Mayor of Lambeth. An advanced screening of the documentary was also shown at the Nigerian High Commission in Trafalgar Square, and watched by invited guests including government officials from across the country. She was received by Ambassador Dalhatu Tafida, and commended for her continued work on Children’s Education, and her new focus of re-branding Africa.

The series “A Promising Africa” would feature other African countries in the future, including, Ghana, South Africa and Ethiopia, and Ethiopian Airlines with flights to more than 80 destinations worldwide, would be flying her to these documentary location shoot sites.
