Lamudi Nigeria on Friday officially announced its lead in the online real estate space with over 30,000 unique listings. This milestone was announced during a lecture at the ERCAAN Annual General Meeting/Conference 2014 which took place at the Adeyemi Bero Hall, Alausa, Lagos Nigeria. This comes soon after the partnership agreement signed with ECRAAN.
Allie Morse CEO Lamudi West and Central Africa commented on the 30,000 milestone. She said: ‘Lamudi is excited to continue the momentum of growth and provide the very best of real estate in Nigeria to internet users within the country and around the globe’.Managing Director, Lamudi Nigeria, Obi Ejimofo provided a data based comparism between supply and demand in Lagos Housing market based on lamudi’s first 12 months of operation during a presentation at the Annual General Meeting of ERCAAN.
He said: For affordable housing to truly be effective as a policy objective, it is critical to carry out research on exactly what people want in housing, where they want it and how much they are able to pay for it. Accurate and granular data on housing demand is an essential component of this research."
The Chairman of the Estate Agent and Commission Agents Association of Nigeria Lagos Chapter, Hon Godwin Alenkhe in his opening speech talked about the progress of the association since signing the partnership with Lamudi Nigeria. He said that: ‘For the past one year we have made tremendous progress in propagating the image of the association. We have projected into the future of real estate development in Lagos state and realized that a well packaged mortgage scheme is the lasting solutions to home ownerships”
This event which is the 18th edition was well attended by stakeholders of in the real estate sector as well as key officials in real estate, finance and law.
