GTBank urges customers to enroll for unique verification number

Following the new directive of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Guarantee Trurst Bank (GTBank) has urged its customers nationwide to take the lead in enrolling for Bank Verification Number (BVN).

Bank Verification Number is an initiative of the Central Bank of Nigeria to give customers a unique number that can be verified across the Nigerian banking industry.

"The exercise is mandatory for all individual customers and must be completed before June 30th 2015", the bank stated in an official email sent to its teeming customers.

Enrolment Process
Customers are to walk into any designated GTBank Branch with a means of identification and passport photograph (where applicable); fill and submit the BVN enrolment form; present Self for data capture; acknowledgment slip with ticket ID will be given after enrolment and BVN will be sent to customers via SMS / Email.
