Toshiba unveils Encore Mini, a 7-inch tablet, and new laptops at IFA 2014

Toshiba has announced a few new devices today at IFA including a new 7-inch tablet, two new convertible PCs, and a new PC for business customers.

The Encore Mini comes with Windows 8.1 with Bing, and a free, one-year subscription of Microsoft Office Personal. The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735G processor and 1 GB of RAM, and has up to seven hours of battery life. It also has both a rear-facing webcam and a front-facing webcam – great for video calls using Skype.

The Encore Mini is now available for $119.99 (U.S.) at major retailers including online and direct from Toshiba on toshiba.com/us. It will be available in Germany, France and the U.K. later this year.

The Satellite Radius 11, also introduced, is Toshiba’s first convertible laptop that can be used in laptop, tablet, audience, presentation or tabletop modes. The Satellite CL10-B is a compact laptop that also supports touch and comes with and Microsoft Office 365 Personal. The Satellite Radius 11 and Satellite CL10-B will be available in Europe later this year.

Toshiba also unveiled the Satellite Pro R50-B, designed for small- and medium-sized businesses and now available in Europe. It has a non-reflective, 15.6-inch HD display, and comes powered with up to a fourth-generation Intel Core i5 processor, and up to 8 GB of RAM.
