According to the organisers of the Awards ceremony, Terragon Group scaled through a credible thorough evaluation process and was selected due to its service delivery and unprecedented corporate image in digital advertising.
In a citation read for the award, it was stated, “With technology and information being at the core of what Terragon Group’s business entails, it boasts of a skilled product and engineering team versed in several web and mobile technologies. With over twelve servers across four continents, the Group’s platforms crunch several terrabytes of data monthly to deliver unparalleled value to advertisers and brands alike.”
Speaking on the award, Chief Technology Officer, Terragon Group, Deji Balogun, said that the award symbolised a recognition of the work the company had achieved in putting Nigeria and Africa on the map of Digital Advertising: “We are proud to be recipients of this award. It showcases our niche services and how we are making use of digital to drive businesses and brands forward in Africa.”
The ceremony was well attended by prominent individuals such as former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel; former Minister of Sports, Chief Alex Akinyele; Executive Director, Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Honourable Lola Edewor, Commissioner, Dr. Mike Onyia, Commissioner, Nigerian Communications Commission; amongst others.
Terragon Group, has its hub in Nigeria, and currently operates out of four other markets including Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and India. The group houses three independent, yet convergent businesses – Terragon Limited, Twinpine Network and Terragon Media Services Limited.
