Comfort Ogheneruro Fedoke
Maltina, the organisers of popular family dance TV show, Maltina Dance All (MDA) has introduced Comfort Ogheneruro Fedoke as a member of the show’s panel of judges. Fedoke, who boasts an extraordinary dance career, will join a powerful MDA panel of judges which already comprises the duo of Emmy-nominated choreographer Jeffery Paige and dance maestro Olumuyiwa Osinaike.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Lagos, Nigeria until she returned to the United States at age 8, Fedoke, a former track and field athlete, began dancing after an injury forced her out of the competitive sports scene. She learned hip hop dancing from watching videos and then began to session with her brothers to further hone her craft. Her father enrolled her in Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts midway into her sophomore year where she received training in tap, ballet, and jazz.

Fedoke is an All-star and choreographer on popular American dance competition “So You Think You Can Dance” where she has featured in seasons 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. She has appeared as a guest on ‘The Ellen show’. She also boasts features in American musical comedy-drama television series, Glee, The Mindy Project, Honey 2, The Michael Jackson Tribute Tour and Step up 5.

Her memorable performances in “Fallin”, as an all-star alongside Adechike and “who runs the world” with Jasmine Harper won an Emmy award for best choreography by Tabitha and Napoleon.

Having worked with artistes such as Ciara, Missy-Elliot, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Justin Beiber, Robin Thicke, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Lopez amongst other heavyweights, Fedoke brings her striking dance repertoire to bear in this year’s Maltina Dance All competition.

The MDA 8, Rhythm of Happiness which currently airs on AIT (7-8pm) daily, Silverbird TV (9-10pm) and Ebony Live TV (7pm) weekdays and (8.30pm) weekends, promises to be the most exciting competition ever as 10 families face the prospect of going home with a whopping 10 million naira grand prize. The first and second runners-up will take home N3million and N1million respectively.

The grand finale would be live on AIT and Africa Magic channels on DSTV. Viewers who miss any edition can still catch all the action on YouTube, Facebook and the Maltina Website.
