Best Of The Best: Sap Reveals 2014 Africa Partner Of The Year Award Winners

SAP is proud to announce the finalists and winners for the prestigious 2014 SAP Africa Partner of the Year Awards.

The SAP Africa Partner of the Year Awards is the company’s premier partner recognition programme that shines the acknowledgement spotlight upon its most outstanding partners, who have excelled in developing a partnership with SAP and in helping their customers optimise their operations, boost their productivity, and increase their respective revenues on the continent.

As with the Academy Awards, it is an honour to be nominated within a category, but one company has to win the award on the night. Always a firm favourite, the New Partner of the Year award nominees were, AXEL Enterprise Systems, Conseils Plus and Allos Consulting with the latter coming up tops on the night.

An equally competitive group of nominees constituted the Strategic Industry Awards: Energy & Natural Resources Partner of the Year category with Accenture, Indra and Twenty Third Century Systems competing for top honours. Accenture emerged as the victor within this Strategic Industry Awards category.

The Partner of the Year Southern Africa Award saw Accenture, EOH and Twenty Third Century Systems vying for the top honour but it was Twenty Third Century Systems who got up to collect the award.

Last, but definitely not least, was the highly sought after Regional MD Awards category, which saw Indra (East Africa), Nosmay (West Africa) and Roff (Francophone) walk away with the award.

The criteria all nominees and winners have to conform to are not for the faint of heart and all nominees have to excel in the building of revenue, customer growth, increase in joint channel activities and even the adherence to ongoing attendance to courses that ensure they are current in all SAP technologies.

“SAP chooses the winners based upon four factors, which are co-innovation, market expansion, service delivery and sustainability. In order to make the best decision, we consult with our own customers as well as field leaders, industry experts and also analyse the key performance indicators of the nominees,” explains Desmond Nair, Director General Business & Partner Ecosystem at SAP Africa.
