Spinlet has joined forces with the Nigerian Music Industry officials and a couple of musicians to launch a campaign – #RealFansBuyMusic – against free music downloads and piracy.
The artistes include Illbliss, Waje, 9ice, Omawumi amongst others. Here is a video shot by renowned music video director Clarence Peters with various artistes talking about the negative impact of piracy and illegal downloads on the music industry and to them as individuals.
The artistes also ask their fans all around the world to support their favourite artistes by buying their music and saying “NO TO ILLEGAL DOWNLOADS”. The video was produced by Joke Jaiyesimi.
