The Ice Bucket Challenge is one initiative that has gone viral with so many celebrities taking part in it. Everyone from George Bush to David Beckham, Bill Gates to Dave Grohl has undertaken the challenge.
Samsung seems to have joined the Challenge in an unusual way as it has chosen the S5 to do the Ice Bucket Challenge on its behalf.
It has also nominated Apple, HTC and Nokia phones to do the same.
Today, Sunday, August 24, the ALS Association announced that it has received $70.2 million in donations compared to $2.5 million during the same time period last year (July 29 to August 24).
In the video you can watch below, the Samsung Galaxy S5 undertakes the challenge and shows off the waterproofing capabilities of the flagship handset. It then nominates the Apple iPhone 5s, HTC’s One M8 and Nokia’s Lumia 930 to undergo the challenge as well.
