Newcastle extends Puma kit deal

English Premier League football club Newcastle United has signed a long-term extension to its kit deal with sportswear company Puma.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the club confirmed that the partnership would run “into the next decade.”

The firm have supplied the Magpies’ kit, replica and training wear since the 2010/11 season, and the announcement follows hot on the heels of the reveal of the latest home kit, which is available to order before going on general sale on Thursday.

Paul Spencer, general manager for Puma UKIB, said: “The partnership we have with Newcastle United is an important one, as we continue to strengthen our brand presence in football.

“The long-term nature of the new contract demonstrates our commitment to the club and its fans.

“Newcastle United has a rich history with a loyal fan base, and it’s a privilege to continue in our role as official kit supplier.”
