MTN Rwanda has launched cloud computing services for businesses, claiming to be the first provider to offer cloud services in the country.
The telecoms operator said its new cloud based business automation offering is intended to assist businesses across the professional services, micro-finance, health and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) sectors cut costs and improve productivity.
The MTN Business Cloud offers cloud collaboration – for companies’ employees to share their documents remotely -; cloud backup to keep files secure from data corruption, theft and other losses; cloud customer management for companies to access their customer information from anywhere; file and server management back-up service MozyPro; and McAfee anti-virus and email security.
