Manchester United has reached a 10 years agreement with German sportwear adidas for a global technical sponsorship and dual branded licensing deal worth 750million pounds - becoming the biggest kit deal ever seen in football.
adidas stepped in after Nike pulled out of negotiation over a new deal last week because it felt United were demanding too much money. The deal will begin from the 2015-2016 season.
The deal is more than twice as big as the Nike agreement signed in 2002, which was worth 303million pounds with extra income from a profit share agreement from merchandise sold worldwide.
adidas said it expect total sales to reach 1.5 billion GBP during the duration of the partnership.
