YouTube Nigeria has released its list of the most viewed videos from January to March. It includes the overall category, comedy category, reality category and music category.
The video, directed by top Nigerian video director Clarence Peters, generated over 300, 000 views in the first week alone- proof that Nigerians still love music as much as ever. Also on the list are the videos of Tuface Idibia’s 2012 single ‘Rainbow’ and Flavour N’abania ‘Ikwokrikwo’ video, which featured 2013 Big Brother Africa winner, Dilish Matthews.
No surprise, AYE also leads the music category; it had over 300,000 views in the first week alone. Also in that category are 2Face featuring T-Pain‘s “Rainbow (Remix)“, Dr Sid featuring Don Jazzy‘s “Surulere“, Tiwa Savage‘s “Eminado” and Shakira feat. Rihanna‘s “Can’t Remember to Forget You“.
In the comedy slot, AY‘s “Deliverance Skit” featuring Helen Paul is leading; it generated almost 300,000 views in the first month. Bovi‘s “Maga Don Pay” and “The Affair” and Uche and the wife of an Etisalat customer, and of course Pranking My African Dad.
