What started as just one in a series of fun moments of The Academy Award, has gone viral on Twitter, becoming the most retweeted photo ever on the social media platform.
A picture snapped by Bradley Cooper after host Ellen DeGeneres mingled with stars seated in the audience at the Oscars, had been retweeted more than 2.5 million times, breaking a record of 778,000 set by President Barack Obama with the picture of him hugging First Lady Michelle Obama after his re-election in 2012.
Kevin Spacey, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and new Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, also crowded into the picture.
DeGeneres announced on stage that the tweet 'broke Twitter' as the site crashed because of the traffic from her picture.
