Lagos to Host 1st Angel Fair West Africa

West Africa's business hub and Nigeria’s heart of commerce, Lagos will play host to the inaugural edition of Angel Fair West Africa.

The city will host about 100 investors and entrepreneurs from within and outside Africa at the event come March 30th and 31st.

Representatives are also expected from the Ghana Angel Investment Network, angel groups in Senegal, Africa Angels Network and networks from within and outside the continent.

Angel Fair was launched in Johannesburg, South Africa, and was noted at the Africa Summit 2013 for its ability to connect investors with entrepreneurs. Lagos, with a 21-million strong population, is described by the investment group Spark (co-founded by Jason Njoku) as the gateway to Africa.
