Most innovative and fastest growing telecommunications services provider in Nigeria, Etisalat, has resolved to empower its distribution partners with the requisite knowledge; skill and resources that will help boost their business operations. The company made the pledge at the 2014 Distribution Conference held on Thursday, January 29 in Lagos.
The conference is organized as part of the company’s effort to strengthen its partnership with distribution partners by reviewing the performance of the previous year and outlining the business objectives of the current year.
Director, Channels Sales, Etisalat Nigeria, Ken Ogujiofor highlighted that the business grew in the last two quarters of 2013 to a level that had never been seen anywhere else. He also said the company was prepared to give the distribution partners the necessary support that will enable them deliver on set goals. Ogujiofor further said that Etisalat is giving the distribution partners the responsibility to develop assigned territories; a move the company says will increase ownership and accountability among the partners.
The one day conference brought to the fore the affinity between Etisalat and its distribution partners with presentations on how the relationship can be deepened and made more mutually rewarding.
One of the Distribution Partners, Mr Anthony Nebeolisa of Tun Communications Limited, said it was a wonderful experience working with Etisalat, and attributed his company’s growth to the support he receives from the network. He praised the innovativeness of Etisalat which he said has made his efforts in business more profitable and expressed his readiness to be a part of the new growth structure Etisalat is implementing.
