Etisalat Cliqfest moves to Kogi State University

The next edition of Etisalat Cliqfest, an educational, entertainment and customer reward initiative, targeted at Nigerian Students is to hold at the Kogi State University, Anyigba on February 13 and 14, 2014.

It was a dream come true for Avwuriekaye Macaulay, an ND2 Accountancy student of the Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, as Nigeria’s most innovative telecommunication company, Etisalat, instantly transformed him into a proud owner of a new Hyundai i10 car, during the Etisalat Cliqfest Seminar/Concert, recently held at the school premises.

Overjoyed by the win, Macaulay said that his experience at the program was beyond his expectations. “I was shocked when my number was called as the winner of the car. This experience is too good to be true. It is the best gift anybody could give me in the new year and I thank Etisalat for this.” He said, amid tears of joy.

Speaking at the event, Head, Youth Segment, Etisalat Nigeria, Elvis Ogiemwanye , explained that the programme was put together for the benefit of Nigerian students to help them realise their potentials. According to him, “We have been able to retain this initiative because we believe in the Nigerian youth. As a company, Etisalat is committed to creating opportunities for all-round development to Nigerian youths.”

The event was also spiced up with musical performances from popular Nigerian Hip-Hop artistes such as Olamide, Sean Tizzeal and Eriddo. The musical acts tried to outdo one another as they thrilled the students to a day of fun.

  1. Wow! Etisalat is really doing great with this Cliqfest initiative. Millions of Nigeria tertiary institutions can be easily engaged by the brand.
