BAT Ends PR partnership With The Quadrant Company

The British American Tobacco (BAT) Company has also parted way with their Public Relations agency, The Quadrant Company after working together in the lasted seven years.

While it was speculated that agency was sacked, the Managing Director of TQC, Mr. Bolaji Okusaga, denied the claim, saying “the disengagement is mutual”.

“We are exiting the business after seven years. It is not sack. The client thinks we are not providing adequate coverage and we think we are not getting adequately paid. The disengagement is mutual.

“Essientially, I think the client has the right to make a change so as to try something new and I wish the client well in its endeavour”, Mr. Okusaga was quoted as saying in New Telegraph report.

On the other hand, the tobacco company also stated in the report that it was an in-house decision to re-structure the company’s way of working with PR agencies. BAT also said there
