Jonathan Doerr now MD/CEO of Jumia Nigeria?

According to Innovationville report, Jonathan Doerr is now the Managing Director/Co-Founder of Jumia Nigeria. While no official statement has been made by Jumia Nigeria to this effect, Jonathan's LinkedIn page attest to this position as from January 2014.

Innovationville reported that Jonathan has been seen in the Jumia Office ever since the rumour of the exit of Tunde Kehinde and Raphael Afaedor.

However, checks by BrandArena on Tunde and Raphael’s LinkedIn profiles still show that they are managing directors and co-founders.

Dr. Jonathan Doerr has a Masters degree and PhD in Business Administration from the Munich School of Management (LMU) in Germany. He joins the company from the graphic design and web design company, Wellenmacher, based in Germany where he is the Founder and CEO. Dr Doerr also worked as a Consultant - Corporate Strategy and Development with Otto Group, the world's largest mail order company and currently one of the biggest e-commerce companies, mainly based in Germany and France but operating in more than 20 countries.
