Zuriel Oduwole |
During the interview, Oduwole spoke to her audience in Mandarin (Chinese), to the delight of the interviewer.
Last week, Oduwole exploded on the global scene again by making the New Africa magazine December 2013 list of Africa’s 100 Most Influential people.
She was featured in the list of the most influential Africans in 2013 along with such notable figures as Nigeria’s finance minister Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Ghana’s Foreign Minister Hannah Tetteh, Nigerias’s Central bank Governor Sanusi Lamiso Sanusi, the Presidents of Kenya, Malawi
and Gabon, Billionaire Businessman Aliko Dangote, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, McKinsey CEO Leke Acha, AU Chairperson Madam Nkosazana Zuma, ADP President Donald Kaberuka, and many highly accomplished individuals.
She was the youngest person on the list, by a very wide margin at just 11 years old. Said by a seasoned journalist – "she is what Africa should be,
and what all parents want their children to be".
