The event which took place at the prestigious Eko Hotel & Suites featured awards to some of the outstanding trade partners, a performance by popular Nigerian R ‘n’ B star, Banky W, and raffle draws.
Speaking at the event, Commercial Manager, West Africa, British Airways, Mr. Kola Olayinka noted that year 2013 was a good year for the company’s business, as it witnessed impressive sales from its partners. This achievement, according to the CM, would not have been possible without the support of the trade partners who remain a critical player in British Airways business success since its operation in Nigeria and West Africa.
“At British Airways, we believe strongly in bonding system, where people are appreciated and celebrated for achieving success with renewed commitment for greater performance. I will like to thank our partners for their outstanding performance in 2013 and also encourage them to continue to do more. For us at British Airways, we will not relent in recognizing and appreciating our outstanding partners for their support across all regions. 2014 promises to be more rewarding for both our trade partners and our customers,” he added.
Responding on behalf of the trade partners, winner of the British Airways 2013 Diamond Award, Mr Mike Otubu of Quantum Travels, noted that a company that is smart enough to honour and appreciate its partners like British Airways really knows its onions. He said that what the company has done is a clear indication that the company cares about its partners and value their impact in its business. He thanked the airline for the honour and promised it of the continued support of his company to the growth of the business.
