Premier Skills Closing Ceremony to hold on Sept. 16th in Lagos

The closing ceremony of British Council’s Premier Skills programme is scheduled to hold on September 16, 2013 at the National Stadium, Legacy Pitch, Surulere, Lagos. About 200 school kids from different schools and selected English Premier League coaches will be in attendance. Time is 10am to 12noon prompt.

Premier Skills is a partnership between the British Council and the English Premier League that uses football as a tool for community development.

The programme concentrates on face-to-face training for coaches and referees, using highly skilled coaches and referee trainers from the English Premier League and its clubs. The participants are then supported in developing their own community-focused football projects.

The British Council Country Director in Nigeria, Lagos Football Association Chairman and Lagos Football Association Referee Chairman are expected to grace the event and give speeches.
