In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility, online mega store, Jumia.com.ng, recently partnered with the '1 Child, 1 Book' an initiative of the Tosin Jegede Foundation to deliver free books to pupils of the Ojota Primary School in Lagos.
Others in attendance were representatives of DHL and First City Monument Bank co-sponsors of the event.
Also in attendance were representatives from the local government and state government. In pushing this initiative further, for any book bought on jumia.com a book is donated to the '1 Child, 1 Book' for a kid who can't afford one.
JUMIA provides its customers with a one stop shopping experience that is convenient, safe and stress-free. It has become Nigeria #1 e-commerce platform, with every day, over 100,000 unique visitors and a daily subscriber base of over 400,000 people.
