The Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria (PRCAN) will be holding the first in a series of Roundtables this year today, Wednesday March 7, 2012, at 9.30am at the new Adna Hotel, 28, Ladipo Bateye Street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
The objective of the PRCAN Roundtable is to continuously engage members and boost PR practice in Nigeria. At this particular session, members will focus on knowledge sharing, pitching fees and capacity development.
According to John Ehiguese, the Secretary General of PRCAN, ‘’we need regular interventions of this nature to discuss PR practice in Nigeria. In addition, it will be an opportunity for members to discuss strategies on how to meaningfully engage key stakeholders and appraise business opportunities in the industry for the overall growth of the profession."
The forum will also give members the opportunity to speak on the value chain process, relationship between PRCAN and consumers of PR services, knowledge sharing with clients and promoting a culture of excellence.
PRCAN remains committed to raising and maintaining the standards of public relations consultancy practice in Nigeria. The body will continue with its Mastering PR Training Series which it started last year and has been well received by members and the entire industry.
