Chicken Republic Partners NBC To Share More To The Less Privilege This Christmas

Quick Service Restaurant, Chicken Republic has partnered with Nigeria Bottling Company to offer its teeming customers more value for their money this season at its outlets all across the country through its 'Share More This Christmas' Promo.

Chicken Republic has also pledged to put more smiles in the faces of the less privileged Nigerian children this December by donating N100 to the orphanage home, SOS Children's Village on every POT Lover Family Value meal bought by its customers this month.

Brand Development Director of Chicken Republic, Venessa Holmes said its decision to celebrate the festive season in a different way this year with the support of NBC is to share happiness of the festive season with the abandoned Nigerians children. "The issue of abandon children in Africa has risen by 60% in the last 10 years, we realize that there is a need to provide a loving home for these children and that's why we choose to support the SOS Children's Village Nigeria since 2009 by sponsoring a house there. We are going to be donating N100 from the sales of our bundle package (POT Lover Family Value meal) bought by customers for their families this season to the children."

"We kick start this initiative this year and we plan to have it next year as an annual season initiative. For customers, they will be able to enjoy more values during the Christmas while we give back to the society from what we get during the season celebration. We are not just providing support for them, the children also stand the opportunity to be trained and employed by Chicken Republic. We also encourage our customers all across Nigeria to donate to the children too by donating gently used toys and clothes at Chicken Republic outlets at Adeola Odeku, Ligali, Lekki, SPG, VGC, Opebi, Okota and Awolowo Road in Lagos; Aminu Kano, Kubwa outlets in Abuja and Agbogbo-Oke, Ondo; Oba Adesida, Akure; Airport Road, Warri and Sanni Abacha, Port Harcourt outlets respectively”, she affirmed.

Yomi Onakoya, Communication Manager of NBC described the relationship between NBC and Chicken Republic as a 'spouse-like' one. She said: "As we look forward to the season celebration, we should also remember the less privilege in our society. NBC partnership with Chicken Republic has been since 2001. Giving to the less privileged Nigerian children at this time of the year is a good idea and that's why we are supporting Chicken Republic once again. Customers can also join the fun with us in the Coca-Cola Afro Santa Trail that is coming up, to dance and sing with Afro Santa. Five lucky kids at each venue will get their photo taken with Afro Santa. "
